everytime i go out i end up racing people and i havent lost for awhile...ive been beating camaro´s,sunfire´s,plymouth laser and the guy with the laser said its cause his car is only pushin 90 horses cause his head needs to be rebuilt likely excuse.....

You´ve been beating camaros??? you´re sure they were actually moving, or even on the road? No way, because Z28s are faster than Mustang GTs.
The regular Camaro with the 3800 cc V6 is still a faster car than the EGT. unless the EGT is modified? I dunno. if you´re winning, be happy cause i don´t always win

well a camaro from the 80´s with a six cylinder isn´t exactly going to be a powerhouse and most of them are pretty neglected now. (who wants a six cylinder in a camaro?) so yeah an EGT will definately get its licks in good on a 87ish camero with a v-6. that being said if I hear someone claim to beat a v-8 anything ford chevy dodge toyota lexus whatever you better have something under the hood other than a cold air intake and a header. Sorry bout that but I cut my teeth on small blocks and even chevy´s 305 and 307 could show a EGT that there is no replacement for displacement. but I digress

Birddog is right, early 80s V6 Camaros sucked in acceleration (nowadays, back then they were fast) a 2nd Gen EGT will take an 80s Camaro by at least a half a second, trust me i´ve looked up stats.
I again, agree with birddog, who would want a Camaro with a V6???? Sunfires you obviously had no problem with, as i´ve said before, they´re ugly, heavy and underpowered. Keep on Fordin´!

When my escort was new, I consitently beat my friends 84 Camaro with a 305 v8 with 20k on the rebuild. It was close though.
So not impossible, but w/ a 350, not likely to lose to an egt either.

80s Fbodys, even the best of them, ran in the 15s or slower. An EGT with mild mods can hold it´s own no problem and win a few.
