Here is what happened. I was driving to my sisters wedding last saturday with my girlfriend. My brother took his 2002 Hyundai Elantra and he had his girlfriend in the car with him. We were going down the highway at like 65mph and he was following me. He decides since his car is newer than mine he is going to show off to his g/f and me floors it and right when he gets up next to me i floor it. He starts to pull ahead of me and his g/f looks out the window and waves at me as they are pulling ahead. Then the power of the escort shined through and i started gaining on him. I passed him at about 95mph and waved at his g/f as i went by. It was awesome, that is the first time i have ever tried to race anyone. He was pissed when we stopped and we were at the wedding. I keep telling him if he wasnts more ill be ready to show him up again in the scort. lol, i love my car more and more every day! :-]

yeah well my friend with his stock 98 elantra was kicking my ass at the track. He was pulling 15.9 with a stock elantra and i was doing 16.2...

Some of those hyundai sure have power...
