Spiffy, the only way you can join is if your car does
your Siggy Morph in the parking lot!\

OK, we've got the 3 mouseketeers so far.
Do you think we'd get more interest if we opened it up to
Small Fords? You know, Pintos, Scorts, Probes, maybe even Tempos?

If all else fails, we can go to the Leavenworth Cruisers meets
and set up our own little corner.

That'd be cool... one thing i gotta know though... does anyone know where i can pick up a really really cheap parts car... i kinda need one bad... Cuz i pretty much won't get seen in public with tha way my car sits right now...LoL no front fenders( layin in my shed) no corners(one broke, one's in tha shed) and needin a few trim pieces so someone help me out... After that though it'll be on... I just installed my cold air intake. Made it outta my 2nd gen probe CAI... Puttin tha muffler and exhaust on today... And also removing the bolt that i broke off tightening down tha valve cover... so it's gonna be a greeaattt day.. anyways.. we can always find somethin ta do even if it's dumb sh*t...

FTW I would drive it. who cares.... Some of the parts I may be able to help you out with pretty cheap. KC is still a long trip tho, unless I am heading towards Worlds of Fun.

Witchita is as far as I usually go on a regular basis.

Ow Well... but if anyone can help me with some odds and ends.... lemme know... and i would drive it around but it's not legal yet so after that i'll probably throw tha beat up fender on and drive tha p*ss out of this thing... and so what's tha word... are we gettin something started here or was this just a feeler kind of a thing...

The Grand Gizzard has been meditating on it and came up with the
    following.

    How about a "Ford 4 & 6 club"?

We would welcome anyone running a Ford 4 or 6 cylinder engine.
I think the straight 6 guys are out there on their own too.
So we would have a bigger pool of car enthusiast to draw from,
a broader range of years of cars and maybe some hot rods.
    I know I've seen a Ranger 4 powered 32 roadster around.

Now this would include the Escorts, Probes and Fiestas, along
with Tempos, Taurases (Tauri?), and Pinto/Mustang IIs.
But then we end up with like Ford trucks (anyone moving stuff? :p )
Mavericks, Furturas and 4 and 6 banger Mustangs, Capris
    and others.

So, of the people here, who has any suggestions. You are
becoming my core group, and I hope you'll help me refine
the ideas and spread the word.

whatever's clever man... i'm not too awfully fond of trucks ... Had a drunk hillbilly( sorry if neone's offended) run up and over tha whole front end of my 2nd gen probe about a year ago... but that sounds pretty good to me... just no CHEVYS>>>> sorry strongly against chevy...

Just blue ovals and the slanted M.
Maybe we should pair ir down to 4s and V6s. Still gives us a
hugh variety of cars but cuts down on some big trucks.
We'd still have Rangers and some Broncos showing, but
we'd make them smile and say their "ABCs" befroe we let them in!
I'm often mistaken for a red-neck hillbilly myself.
Are you guys on other forums where we can spread the word?

And we need to work on a name for this club.
Ford Four And V-6 Club Of KC just doesn't rool off the tongue very well.
I'd say something like KC Small Ovals, but someone would make
a rude joke. KC Blue Crew? KC 4 & More?

I think if any of you are serious we should get together and meet
face to face sometime soon. So we can figure out where to meet,
who to get to let us use their lot, line up bussinesses that might
want to set up displays and maybe cruise routes and distances.
All the stuff that makes it fun, plus some basic rules.

    Is anyone still interested?

Yeah... I'm not sure when, but we're having the high school drags here in a while. I'm not sure what your guys' cars run, but we could either setup a little section over there; or just show up and hang out.

You don't see too many 'groups' at the drag events mainly because it's a huge mixture of people. Mainly little rice-patty racers, old school muscle, and everything else. Scion has a group that shows up for most of the events and they're the kinda people that think that they're better than everyone because they drive a Scion. I think it'd be cool if we could have an Escort/Ford area or booth set up just to have fun. They mainly show up just to show off how much mommy and daddy put into their cars (don't get me wrong, there are some who do work and invest in cars, but they're normally the pricks).
^^Sorry for getting off topic there...

Anyhow, yeh, I'm still interested. As for a name: KCF (K.C. Fords)?

    KC Scorts and Sports?
Deal with all the 4 banger Scorts and sporty FORD 4 bangers.
What is the date on the High School Drags?

And my ZX2 is still a real ragbag. But my Probe is running fine
and with a little work can be quite presentable. I've tried not to
take it too far from stock as it was in graet shape for a 18 year
old car. Only had 140,000 on the clock and real clean.
ANd hey, RatRods are cool, so why not a ratty Scort? Get a
jump on the next wave of rat rods: RattyRicers!
    LOL. Just kidding.

    OK. Here's the deal.
If Spiffy and BeerGuy agree to be judges, I'll be the tie-breaker.
The 1st place prize for the person with the best name for
the KC Area Escort and Ford 4 Cylinder club will nor only be to
pick the winning club logo, but he will get the 1st stickers and tee-shirt
made AND get a free 3 year membership.
    Sound interesting?
