Hey guys I am looking to buy a cone filter to put on the scort...
Since I don´t need the "Filtercharger Intake Performance Kit" (right?) I was wondering which size of filter I need or if anyone knows the ID number for the cone filter that fits the 94 Escort GT that´d be great.

i went with the FIPK on my ´91GT, mainly cause its come down in price somewhat here lately, u dont HAVE to get it, but once u take out the factory airbox ur gonna have to make some brackets to support ur airflow meter and new filter, that stuff comes with the kit. also, the airvane is so close to the fender that it might be hard to find a properly shaped filter for a homemade setup( i dunno). but the filter in the FIPK kit WILL NOT FIT without the other parts in the kit. so it comes down to money or stress, which do u want more?

Does anyone know it you can get a cone filter for an 87 egt? a k&n would be best

For the 87 you need a square to round adapter to connect you your vam to the filter. You can get them at zxtuner.com

I bought a smaller K&N conical filter and it fit in the fender with some pvc pipe and a somewhat expensive adapter plate that had to be modified a little bit. My VAF isn´t held in place by anything other then the hard pipe to the turbo.
