Ok so when my NOPI order didn´t go through I went back to Tirerack.com and just placed an order for a set of front KYB struts, the boots and a set of EBC Greenstuff pads. it was 5 bucks more expensive total, and got slightly less, but the service is MUCH better. I should be gettin a receipt for my purchase and they´ll email me when they ship my order too. So within three days I should have my struts and brake pads. after that I just need to order my rear struts, some mounts and have a shop install them for me.

go searchin through a junkyard. you might get lucky. or you could try to find a 2.0 Zetec engine with a transmission and swap that into your LX and sell your 1.9 to someone that might need it.

bah. don´t put a honda engine in it. stay Ford baby. I´m sure you´ll have less trouble with the 2.0 zetec anyway, besides how are you gonna say you beat a honduh with a honduh engine? it just cancels out the killing honduhs image anyway?

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! I got my struts and brake pads today. now I have to order my rear struts and save some money to have the tie rods done and then find a freakin strut tower brace, cause NOPI is "out of stock" of all the ones they advertise. YAY! i got my struts. hehe

Yo sportscort, If yur gonna drop an import motor in, ya might as well go with either a Mazda or Nissan. Mazda is obvious and Nissan used to be owned by Ford so that shouldn´t be that hard n e way.

while we´re at it why don´t we just put in a V10 from a viper, GUYS, you can´t just put whatever engine into a car, especially a fwd one without ALOT of customization and MONEY...

Thanks MX-3 for that second most obvious statement of the year. Most of the time I think we can figure out that a lot of time and money would be invested into a transplant. Anything is Possible so stop trying to rain on everyone´s parade. I dislike negative people.

So a big imagination can never become "realistic"? I´ve seen some pretty crazy shit done to cars. take that 1st gen with no doors or roof that was shortened on ebay. ;-)

I might get flamed for this but... If your going to spend all that money to customize an engine into your escort why wouldn´t you just use that money and buy the actual car?
