I just got a new job and now I can start putting money into performance parts for my scort. First stop INTAKE!!! Now I have a few questions.

What is the difference between the K&N and CTA Motorsports intakes performance wise? What is included in the K&N Kit, do I get a new intake tube cause my original one is all duct taped up. And if a tree falls in the woods and no one was around to hear it, would it make a sound? :-o

Oh yah, I drive a bright faded red 92 EGT 1.8 BIG BLOCK! Hhehehe

Thanks for the help!

K&N FIPK comes with a cone filter adapter (from the cone filter to the VAF) and neseccary mounting hardware. That´s it. Mine also came with a free filter charger.

No, the FPIK doesn´t come with a new intake hose, so you may want to consider making your own out of SS tubing or simply buying another one or pulling one off a junk car.

The CTA motorsports has had mixed reviews, but the K&N as far as I know has had flawless reviews. I use it on my EGT with a cold air intake setup and an RX-7 VAF and it works great. Makes a real nice growly intake sound too :)
