I just re-installed my current set of rally lights.
the thing is though, is i made a slit in the high-beam wire insulation behind each headlight, and wired the positive from those so i have less voltage drop then if i ran the wires all the way from the battery to the lights to the switch & fuse and back to the battery...
(when i had them wired the recommended way, they were barely as bright as the high beams)
i did upgrade the head-light fuse as well from 30 amp to 60 amp to handle the load
the lights are a set of walmart-brand lights

55 watt pair
just flashing the high-beams, they'll be fine, i'm sure, but is it safe to drive with them on for long periods of time being they are wired to the high-beam positive wire directly?
