I was wondering if this intake http://procarparts.com/store/displaydetails.cfm?pid=MAZ-3231.8L-8992-AIS of a mazda 323 will fit on my 93 escort gt? thanks and if you know anywhere where i could find a better one please tell me

Well it says 88-92 so I´m not sure, Mazda might have made some minor changes to the intake and whatnot after the 92 Model year to the 1.8L BP engine. It could be possible with some ingenuity and a lot of cursing that you might be able to make it fit.

It´s only like what? 34 dollars? do what you want. I don´t want to be the one that told you to throw your money away, but it could work so you never know...To quote my favorite quote: "the greatest risk is not taking one"

I don´t think the Miatas use the same 1.8s as the EGTs and 626s. Again, with some ingenuity and some cursing, you could make it work if you wanted to.

it looks alot like the adaptor plate I have. The 323 uses the same motor we have, I think it would work better then the Miata, because the Miata is RWD, so the intake actually comes over the top of the valvecover (like on the Mercury Capri)

But I think it could work....yeah take the risk and try it. If it doesn´t work the way you like it, just say its for a Honda on eBay and you can get rid of it

Now that I finally looked down at your last post...yeah go with the Miata one. I just went out and looked, its almost dead on like mine for the miata.

Both of those will fit. Pick which one you like better and it shouldn´t be a problem. Personally I would get the miata one since it has a flange that you could put a better filter onto.
