Well this weekend I finally get to install the cold air intake I got for my 02 ZX2. ordered it before Christmas, had it sent to the address I would be at around Christmas-New Year, got backordered, so here I am three weeks later. I´ll let you know if it makes a difference, I am still a little skeptical about these.

I see you´re from VA also. Well, it´ll be a really cold air intake when you install it. We had temps here this morning of 6. With -15 wind chill. Lovely weather.

Yeah, I will be going to southwest PA this weekend, it has been freezing cold there as well. the zx2 didn´t like this morning at all, kind of worried a little - yeah it was cold, but for some reason it was missing at idle. not horrible, but I could feel it. soon as it warmed up it went away. hopefully just some water in the gas...

Alrighty now... got the intake, Iceman fro zxtuner. Very easy to install. took about three minutes - no really! The first thing i noticed was the car idles much smoother then it used to. the engine seems to be a little quieter and smoother across the rpm range. no real noticable difference in the bottom end feels, a little better in the higher revs. best part of the whole deal - my fuel economy got better. instead of getting 26 mpg on the trip as it usually does, I got 31. Still sucks, but thats what you get with an automatic. I will write a review that is a little more detailed, but right now I am kind of busy.
