Only that I have tried to make contact with several light manufactures to see if interest would be there. I and am assuming others would like an option as far as exterior lighting for the 2nd. gen. That and I think I will go with a satin black finish on the headlights, still undecided on which side markers to use. She has been under a cover since last pics. Maybe this weekend I can fool around, what do you want to see?
I had a lead on an LX-E, but the price when from $500 to $1000 for a unmatched front bumper and a quart of trans fluid (seller did while in negotiations and never received pics). A little disappointed to say the least! Would have been a perfect kid hauler for me!

lol the only reason I went with a 4 door is that I have 3 kids 2 of which need to be in car seats so a 2 door like my last 2 scorts would of been hell. I would love to see a production of aftermarket lights for our cars. But its just like everything else for the second gen if we want it we have to make it ... it is what it is.

But the good part about that is when you see one of our cars and it has been modified we know exactly how much effort there was in the build, a sense of pride.

I wouldn't mine a 4 door, I also have kids and the wife wants the automatic trans. Since the LX-E and LTS are so hard to find, I may just have to build a 4 door with the 1.8. I just need to find donor cars. I just require 1.8 to bother.

Yeah I don't have a 1.8 in my car but I have everyhting else. Did even an entire bottom protege swap for my interior hvac and all. I wanted the double din for a nav system plus I like the hvac controls better anyways.

This summer I have a new project in mind where im going to fuse some gauge pods in the dash trim where the mirror and defrost switches are since they are pretty much worthless to me. For some reason my rear window doesnt have the little strips for the defrost and when I did the 3rd gen mirrors my controls dont work properly.

To get a "full slat" grill, I cut 5 slats out of a donor grill and fused them into mine. I am just a cut-and-paster. Instead of 8 slats, you now have 13

I left a set of lights in the car as I modded another set. I used the angle of the stock bulb and eyeballed the locations of the light "pods". The pods sit snugly in the stock lights when the rear of the housing is removed.

Used a dremel and a table sander to cut and shape the pods and lenses.

The lights are held in with 3 spring-loaded bolts with wingnuts for individual adjustability. The stock adjustment can also be retained with with deign to move the len face.
    Completed light with bracket modded.

Used bondo-glass to secure pods in position.

Worked bondo into the front void to blend the pieces. It will take several coats and sanding to get it to be smooth.

Hope that is what you are looking for, feel free to ask any questions!

p.s. I am wrapping up another "full slat" grill, if there is any interest from anyone, PM me.

I found the strobe on ebaymotors.com I just typed in "knight rider" and found them. Here is an example, just like mine but with a different FOB.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/54-LED-K ... 2c5cefd59a

Searching further, this is the one I have.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/25-54-LE ... 3368ed6934

I did make a custom plexiglass holder to put on the back of the grill, might not be necessary, but it does help even out the light. I used reflective tape along the egdes to reduce light bleed.

I have a "full slat" grill for sale if interested...

Got that modded tracer grille done yet J? I'm gonna need one as my current half-slat is about at it's end. May even send it to you if we can negotiate the price a bit.
