Wait no longer, the paint is dry and they are almost done. Need to mod the brackets slightly, but here!

The camera doesn't do the blue lights justice, they are much more crisp and "electric" in real life.

Thanks guys. It had to be done! Well it was a lot of time and work into them, but learned a lot and got better as I went. I just go until happy and I am hard to please. Feel free to ask me questions if anyone wants to try this on their own! I was talking about $150-200 for the labor and supplies alone. The side marker labor, if wanted would be an additional $75. The donor and stock housing would have to be provided, otherwise, I would have to add that cost onto the job. The stock housings would need the brackets removed to ensure that the mounting tabs aren't brittle. These are critical for the lens to work in stock bracket. I bought new ones on ebay for $52 to the door, the local Pnp wanted $60+ tax for used ones. I got my MX6 paint-able housings used on ebay. The cheapest new ones are like $90 and if you want a projector lens, that's like $120, and if you want them HID ready like $175, and HID projector ones are like $190+ depending on vendor. The LEDs are changeable and can use 3mm or 5mm LEDs. I prefer to get the pre-wired/resisted ones, just easier! Just PM me or hit me up at [email protected] for any details. Thanks again all, I want to get them in the car this weekend, I may even have to put in the grill too!

For $350, I will order the lights, new housings and make the headlights, no side markers. If mailed side markers add say $50 to mod those as well...if you want to get serious, I can give/get details; Pm me.

No problem. In light of recent events, I would request half money up front. Mostly so I don't go deep out of pocket. I just can't buy the parts on faith anymore and money just got a whole lot tighter in this house. That and if made and someone has difficultly with payment, I will just keep and hope that they can make payment for the labor. Considering turn around would be as prompt as possible, I would expect same for payment of item(s). Just throwing that out there....if there is flaw in my logic, someone please tell me.

no flaw in ur logic at all bro lol im sure thats much more work and money to make the lights then the grille. and with money being twice as tight, i would personally want full payment upfront and give the buyer a signed receipt.

it your still doin this in the summer, I WILL WANT ahaha id throw u like 500 for the set and my grille all together.

They will be fine on a durability stand point, I had to mod one of the mounting points on the stock housing, but the others will all be used. Using the stock bracket, it shouldn't be an issue. They will be as strong as the housings and brackets used...

Alright! No more teasing! I had a break in the weather, and am waiting for the chance for some night shots. I need final adjusting, but they went in pretty smooth!

Here are some pics with the stock, smoked lenses, which should I use? I am torn...if I went with the stock ones, I would want to repaint the headlights at least a satin finish. If I keep the side markers, I plan to smoke the reflector out.

oh....my....god.... lmfao those are damn sexy dude!! seeing them on the car REALLY does them justice. id keep your custom side markers on there, i dunno about colour. i was thinking match them to your car, but i dunno now. i think they look kick azz in black. either way that is prolly the most bitchin looking custom mod ive seen on an escort, well done

I would go with body color and smoke out that small portion of reflector and call it a day. Good work btw. How straight on is the light

I haven't found out yet, I just rigged some wire to get the halo lights to work. I will be removing them when the clutch job happens, so I didn't bother aligning the lenses yet.
I had a chance to get some night shots, but this camera sucks and causes a lot of glare.

I will when warmer, the side post was really tight on the new housings and didn't want to break the smoked lenses.
