I have a 1995 Tracer sedan and I'm getting sick and tired of putting my Bicycles on the trunk rack. Any suggestions for a good roof system so that I cand Mount bikes, kayaks, or similiar?

I got a complete "New" roof rack set for $41 on Ebay. One of the big nuts was stripped but local Rack Store has all that in stock.

Thule and Yak and great, and about $400, but mine seems to work fine, too.

Real question is what sort of bike carrier? IMO even the top of the line Thule that clamps the whole bike with tires still on (only way to go IMO) is still awkward even after learning it.

I think the best is get a tow hitch, and hitch mounted bike carrier that SWINGS AWAY.

Then you can also get cargo tray for the hitch. Said to really improve MPG over roof mount for carrying big tool box.

Get the cheap roof racks, too, just to have.
