Can someone please help me, I am trying to replace my ignition key cylinder ( the metal thing that connect the cylinder to the electronic switch snapped, there fore i need to replace the Cylinder NOT the black switch). I have seen the cylinder and it has 2 mounting screw (to mount to the steering column) but i can seem to remove the one on this 1991 EGT :evil: . can someone show me or point me to the right place, I do have the new cylinder, i just cant take the old one off :evil:

Well according to my 96 manual you need to remove your key reminder and the ignition switch because they are both one piece not two.It says just to remove the multi function switch and then you can remove it.Someone already posted something on replacing it.Just do a search and you shall find.
