After a lengthy discussion with the vp we have decided to shutdown and reorganize. We made this because of the lack of attendance and intrest in the first for escort car club. Let me thank Brian for all of the support he gave me and everything man, I really apperciated it. We our going to reorganize and most likely reopen as another club or join latest craze. Thank you guys

:? I guess I don't deserve props.

I can't say I didn't see this coming.

Max there's a few flaws you have goin on here, one is no one can ever get a hold of you. Which is why me and brian didn't go down on the 13th. The directions you linked through your 5 million sites went nowhere either. That got a bit frustrating.

Get online earlier than 2 am on a weeknight and we can talk more about it.

Good luck though.

sorry to hear that sportscort93. but the number one problem, is that escort enthusiasts are few and far between. so more than likely there is only a handful of people around you and it's extremely hard to get those people to show. however with a large group it should be no problem to get some of the people to show up to a meet. my suggestion would be to open the club up to any kind of car/truck/motorcycle. this might produce some better results.

Sad news to hear of an Escort Club going down. Both the UK-based clubs I belong to are still going great guns. Between us we had around eighty cars on the two stands at Trax. In addition there were good showings from the RS and Cabrio clubs. Of course being such a small country, members are able to travel to the shows - even our Scottish members made the 700 mile round trip down south.

The Mkv Register is also divided into 'Areas' and each of these has its own list of members who meet up on a regular basis.

'Mkv' also has a very good staff to handle different aspects of the site, ie/the Club magazine "Scorted," discounts, publicity, show organization etc., so that there is always someone on hand to deal with any problems members might have.

We also have, I'm glad to say, several US members/users.

Although both clubs have their technical side, they are also very strong 'socially' chatting both through posting and MSN Messenger.

Anyway, it's good to see people are still staying-on here even when they part with their trusty old 'scorts and move on the other makes (James) and long may it be so.

that sucks to hear it, i was thinking about joining, but im in illinois, maybe i still will. But we were going to start up our own sound club, cuz i knew i pounded. but i went to my comp and took third with a 155.1 db. and now im a proud member of Team Deep Vibrations Car Audio Club. we are loud, and incharge, too bad my car has to look better b4 i bust out the stickers. but you should, open it up to any type of vehicle, and let it be that way. bc more people will come up to it.

Okay, if me and the vp decied to open it back up, we our going to need a catchy name.. something non gay, or racist, kevin keeps coming up with those on his own, but we need a serious name and people willing to help promote the club and come to meetings.. and james sorry about those directions I am working on another message board, one we own and not something that kills you when you come to it.
