You´ll have to host the picture on a website with FTP, (cardomain doesn´t have/use FTP) so you can link it in your signature. ;-)

I already answered that question. Host your pictures on a site that uses FTP...

I speak retard... :-]

you see, pics like I have in my sig are linked from other places on the internet. A picture CAN´T be "hosted" on your hard drive because you´re not always on the internet, so if you weren´t on and connected, people couldn´t always see the pic, so you have to put it on a thing called a server.

A server is a computer dedicated to storing files and sending them out to people who browse websites because servers are always on and connected to the internet.

Because these servers are always connected to the internet, you can put your pictures from your hard drive onto the hard drive of the server and then the server will be able to distribute that pic to anybody at any time.

Webpages such as FEOA work on the principle that when you connect to feoa (http://www.feoa.net) the server that hosts that domain will send you the html source code, which is the blueprint for the webpage that you are browsing.

Within this code contains all the text and messages and pictures that come up on your screen when you load the page up.

This code, known as HTML, can be modified by members.

Because of this, you can essentially make the code say "okay, here is a picture, and here is where to find it" and tell the person´s machine who is browsing the webpage to LOOK TO A DIFFERENT WEBSITE to retrieve a picture or file. This picture is then integrated into the layout of FEOA.

That´s the basis of what goes on when you "link" a picture.

However, to link a picture, you can use different languages. The most common is HTML, which is the source code for most webpages, and then there is also BBCode. BBCode is basically designed for retarded people and it just takes simple things like and converts them into html when y...d stuff. And there it all is, in a nutshell.
