I wanna know where Roboskittle is and where my turbo is.

I sent him 125 for the turbo and shipping and it's been 2 weeks since I've seen him on here or heard from him at all.

Where can i find a turbo for the 2nd gen scorts need one for my 91 lx and 94 lx.
Get all the parts you need from '83-'84 Escort Turbos. Manifolds, injectors, ECU, BOV, etc. I reccomend using a newer turbo though.. 20 year old turbos are old tech.

The 83-84 1.6 T injectors and ECU will not work in a 91/94. And they did not use a BOV.

My 20 year old turbo works very well, no shaft play, good oil seal and spools just as fast as any other.

Whoops, sorry then.. I coulda sworn..

So what is it that you need from the turbo models, Jeff? intake piping, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, downpipe... What else?

How does it work w/out a BOV? Am I just using the wrong terminology? If not a blow-off valve, it's got to have some sort of a recirculation route, right?

As for the 20 year old turbo.. so many advances in design have been made, I'm just saying that you could improve upon it considerably.

If he had a first gen he could use this form a EXP:
Computer
Injecotrs
Air flow meter
piping
oil lines
down pipe direct fit

But since he has a second gen, there were many changes in the electronic of the esocrt. So the only parts he need from a 1.6 T would be the turbo, manifold and down pipe, but even the down pipe needs to be modified.

The US and UK turbod Escort do not come with a dump valve or BOV of any kind, the boost is low nuff to let let it crash into the TB and let the turbo unspool between shifts. The most common first upgrade to a RS is a dump valve.

On a side, pissed off note, has ANYONE seen roboskittle or know his email/home phone number? I sent him the damned money order 2 weeks ago and he told me he would send the turbo out the next day. That was two weeks ago from this past tuesday afternoon. I would like to know why it takes two weeks to ship the thing, and why he hasn't been on since he said he shipped it. IF anyone has any info let me know. Thanks. I'm a little :x right now.

I dont know Robo personally but I do know that he is in the Air Force, and in his defense I will say that sometimes I know the military can spring deployments and lock downs at a moments notice. I am not saying that happend but it does from time to time. And if it did he would not have any ability to get to his computer, etc.

Yes, the 84-85 1.6 EXP/GT Turbo manifold will work on the 91-96 1.9 and 2.0 SPI. The UK Escort RS 1.6 mani will also fit.

Cool

Thnx Man, that helps alot, now i doubt i could find one in any junk yard, so i guess ill just need to order one, if its at all possible, if i got the headers, and the downpipe out of the 1.6 to put in my 1.9, how strong are the turbos in those cars, and i understand they never had a wastegate or something, I really appreciate the help everyone. Its tite to actually find this stuff out. Also if i got that turbo manifold, is it a direct bolt on, or does it need to be modified, and if so, what
