ever since i got rid of it i have missed seeing it. i haven't even seen it being driven around by the people who bought it. so sad. i loved that escort. if i had another chance to get a 91-96 escort gt i would take one over my mustang lx in a heartbeat. theyre ten times more fun to drive.

So...go buy another one...why did you sell yours in the first place? (just curious) :? They're a dime a dozen, they're everywhere...

Mustangs can be fun too. Get some performance goodies for the 3.8.. ('m assuming that's what you mean by an LX? Unless you got a 5.0 LX...)

exhaust, intake, headers, cams, etc.

the engine was completely wasted...it needed a valve job and the timing was alllll screwed up...probly could have used a new crankshaft...they had just rebuilt the new one b4 it died. i sold it for $100 to my friend...he owned a shop so he got the valve job done and sold it to someone else. he said he sees them driving it around tho...but i haven't been around home lately (went to college) so i wanna go back and see it.[/quote]

Hey, Gmoney here..
I say fix up your mustang too...There are alot of aftermarket parts for the mustang out now too without spending an arm and a leg..I personally think the LX's look great with aftermarket rims, especially 17's or 18's CHROME!!..As far as selling her and wishing you had her back, I did the same thing, sold mine to a guy who removed the head, put a new one on at around 147,000 miles and when I saw him a year later he had over 199,000 miles on her, but she was dirty as hell and looked all beaten up. So just hope their taking good care of her and move on....I guess....
Anyway, just wanted to let you know, I think we have all been there at some point in our lives and unfortunately we have to learn the hard way.
Well, later
