John,

Why are you looking at Mini sites?

I loved my MG 1100, It would 3 wheel without you even feeling it, unlike the Escort which tells you with the feeling of a 5 gallon bucket sliding across the car then Bam over steer.

Strange, what memories the picture of a gauge can do.

I love speedhut gauges but where are you going to fit a 3 3/8" gauge on the dash? The Smith dual gauge is only 2" and will be much easier to fit into the gauge surround especially with how brittle they can be and you having to drill a hole to fit the gauge.

This is what it looks like behind the gauge surround so you have an idea of how much room you have behind it.

Chillin's gauge setup is sweet and I contemplated mimicing what he did but I decided to continue to keep everything pretty much OEM on the car.

Nice Speedo, I'm thinking about instead of putting into that bezel but instead putting it into the Gauge cluster itself. Drilling a hole where the fuel and water temp are. Thanks for the picture.

Oops. Just now realized you have a third gen! Good luck with whatever you decide and ignore my 2nd gen option.

Yeah but I like the Speedo and Tach the way they are. I'm willing to compromises to having the quad gauge look off but it's in the cluster so I can quick glance it.

Damn you! After reseeing Chillins gauge pod you got me thinking about doing the same thing he did! LOL!

I have a few cluster bodies from my frequent junkyard visits and I'm seriously contemplating putting a cluster like Chillins together.

Post pics once you have it in the car!

XD So I've spread a trend, I'm just doing a simple one and your going for tilt. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with. Once I get my first paycheck, I'll be doing come work. I guess I'll be making a guide on how I do it. I'll try to put as much detail as I can and wiring because I want to use some of the wiring that ford has given me. Atleast for the fuel gauge and lights.

Gotta sound cringey but my mom offered to buy it for me for Christmas. XD So I guess that's 260 ish buck I don't have to spend on the money pit, Too be fair. if the car gets into a wreck and gets body damage then I can put into another escort or just into my next car.

If someone can, Please find a diagram for the wires going to the gauge cluster. I want to tap into those.
