looking to find out the difficulity in changing the heads in this car ... already changed the timing belt w/waterpump ... no compression may of bent valves

Head takes me 5-6 hours to do with hand tools.

And for the start...you probably should be getting someone else to do the job if you're using the plural term for "head" on an inline 4.

Also. Get a set of ARP head studs for the job. They are re-usable and worth every penny.

it's actually pretty easy to replace a head on any car. just grab a chiltons/haynes to find out the sequence to removing/installing the head bolts.

Maybe you didnt time it right. Look at his post people. These are non interference motors so if the timing belt breaks the piston wont hit the valves. You need to recheck the timing belt.
