I'm doing the bushings on the front of my 1993 1.9l wagon
How much do I compress aka tighten the nuts on these aftermarket set ups.
No instructions. Its tge poly urethane bushing kit from energy suspension.
I thought it was 3/8 to 1/2 of the threaded portion of the bolt ecposed but the car seems too swayish when moving. It feels that it's not tight enough

tighten them until the rubber begins to bulge out. might have to tighten a few times until it feels right.

I agree with marclar. Just be sure not to crush the bushings too much.

Tighten until it feels right and take a quick test drive and check them afterwards.

Since their Poly make sure you lube them so they don't squeak.
