in a '95 escort 1.9l transmission?

just did a transmission swap and nobody can tell me how much fluid to throw in.
any help would be much appreciated.

Ford specifies MERCON ATF fluid. It takes 6.7 quarts total (empty torque converter), or 4.1 quarts for a refill (full torque converter).
