Woo Hooo Another 89 GT owner!!!!! First GENS RULE!!!! Anyway, according to my Chilton an 89 GT Scort had 110hp stock. Also according to other placecs I´ve looked comparing Escorts, the first Gen Escorts were the lightest of the family, so any HP increase should definetly help out now matter how little.

I have to agree with that 11 extra hp is 10 % more than stock and with such a light car any weight loss is very noticeable.I was actually thinking about taking my 89 to the scales and weighing one corner at a time to find better balance and decide what to move or remove.
