had to post again-about to hit 160k now and still no problems and I drive the crap out of it
Interesting how just like Hondas, it's rather difficult to find an Escort with age that has under 100K miles on it. Guess that tells you something!
On my 97' LX sedan I have 128,000 miles.
mine's a 1998 Escort SE and I'm up to about 130k on it
I have 135,000 and i just got the car a about two mouths ago. Then it had 133,000 and it sounds great for it's age, slow but it sounds great.
65k on my 98 escort keep it fresh
some where between 70k to 75k on a 2000 se
About 120K on the 1998 Se Sport.
About 160K on the 2000 ZX2
97 Tracer 93k origional
dreaded valve seat cyl4 problem at like 88k (car was free so decided to fork out cash to fix)
i just got a 97 escort Lx 4door about a month ago. i got it with 173,000 miles and i have put almost another 1k on it.
161k on my 97
i gots like 75 thousand something.

98k on my 1998 wagon:
145K or so on 97', motor died with 64K on it, replaced with used 98' with 60K
74k on my 98 SE
97 LX Sedan bought in 99.

had it since it had 18K on it.
bought my 97 escort for 200 dollars having 124k miles..now has 135k miles...excellent condition
~70K miles, '97.

Update on mine: 247,775 and still running. Finally also got the air bag module recall service done.
