Mines got 90,300k 2002 escort sedan :?
I just left the ranks of 1st Gen only owners. I now own a 1999 SE 5-Speed w/ 85,000 miles on it.
I still own my 1990 LX 3-Speed ATX with 77,000 original miles on it.
161,000 on my 97. Original motor and I drive it HARD.
my 97 escort se have 119k i bought it with 113.6k 6 months ago
1999 se escort 88,905 i put 25,000 of them on
I have 2 '99 escorts. Both red, 4dr sedans, with the DOHC engine. Both have approx 80k and both still get 33-35 mpg in town and 38-40 on hwy. Pretty satisfied.
I just totaled my 93 F-150 which I loved and bought a 97 Escort in mint condition with 111,000 miles for $1,000. Pretty good deal huh???
2000 4dr, 44K miles
a tough 178k on a 98 se
I got 56k on my 2000, that I got in may last year with 50K.
It loves cold weather, motor starts like its 70 deg out, and goes through snow like it has snow shoes on.
260k and going strong on white 97 scort wagon, beat that!!
damn! was the engine rebuilt in anyway?
53K on my 2002...
soon to be a little more but at a lot higher speed if tom doesnt buy it
I might as well update how many miles are on my '97: 240,100 miles.
Do you know it has been 3 months since this post (and by the way - the 98SE STILL has 162,000 miles on it and the engine is STILL dead).
I decided that it is time to get Ol' Blue running again, so I am shopping for another 2.0L SOHC engine and will get it on the road again.
Man do I miss buzzing around with that car - and the 32 MPG on the road!!
SOOOOOOO much reading to catch up on - I have been gone for those 3 months.
Thanks for still being here all!!
125,000 on my 97
My '97 only lasted little over 130,000 when the computer died. Became a parts car for my (and another member's on here) 2nd gen.
'01 Escort Se with just over 77k on it.
Are those 17" wheels ?? What size tires are you running ?? Any rubbing issues ??
BTW, 192,000 miles on my just-acquired 98 Escort SE
Yes, they are 17x7.5 with 205/40 kumho ecstas. Needed spacers in the rear and had to roll the rear fenders and trim a bit of the inner bumper to get rid of all the rubbing during autocross
Update on my mileage: 124,000 on my '99
