Hmmm. I can only give guesstimates because I've been keeping this car around for quite a while now and keep losing where I write stuff down. I also had to change out the cluster so the OD currently reads around 129K. But...

    1997 Wagon.
    - about 405K on the body
    - current block and auto trans, a little short of 250K
    - current head, about 140K
    - rings and bearings, about 1K :D

So, you know. I don't know how many miles that really means. I can say that between major head/valve-seat related episodes I generally don't have to do a thing to it (beyond normal maintenance). That's partly why I keep fixing it. Other than that its always been the cheapest option to keep a car on the road.

Just hit 253k on my tracer today. No issues other than a oil leak from the rear part of engine. Going to pull tranny next week and see where it's coming from. Hope to reach 300k!

There's still a few low mileage escorts around. Not many, but they do exist.

Do you have an auto or a 5speed?
I want to flat tow mine but I don't want to deal with the expense of a trans pump in the car

I have a 5 speed. The car was bought by my grandparents in 03 on a whim. They needed a car, and it was there haha.

Cheapest car to maintain that I've ever owned.

My 99 is about to hit 191K. I'm currently driving close to 400 miles weekly for work so it's adding up faster than ever. Seafoamed it today; next is an oil change and possibly a tune-up. Currently getting 40mpg highway.

Fucking hell that's great gas mileage. I need to clean my EGR, my mileage is suffering.

My 97 wagon is 30-33 mpg no matter what I do or clean or fix etc.

Mine just passed 210K a week ago. I'll no longer be working out of town, so I won't be putting as much mileage on it. I put 10K on it in the past 6 months. Good job on the 350K; if mine makes it to 300K, I'll be super happy. 400K, I'll be ecstatic.

MenaceMan47, when I bought mine, I would have never guessed it would even reach 210K! At that time, I'd never had any vehicle longer than about 120K. So, I think you could be surprised as well.

I'm at 185k. Just got it with 184k. Runs incredibly well, and I have been averaging 38mpg even among dense MD traffic. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of MPG I get on an upcoming road trip after I've installed cruise control
