    110 Horsepower @ 5000 RPM
    125 ft/lb Torque @ 3750 RPM

It's in the owner's manual. You can download one for your car by clicking HERE

and just to clarify that is to the crank, not to the wheels.

Ha.. yeah. The wheels are much less than that, espicially if you have an automatic.

Estimate about peak 87-89 WHP for the ATX and about peak 92-94 WHP for a MTX in 4th gear on a mild dry day.

If this sounds depressing a stock ZX2 puts down about 104-108 WHP for the MTX and that is rated at peak HP at the flywheel. The Zetec can get into the mid 130 WHP range with bolt-ons, but remember it has 4 valves per cylinder, much more aggressive cams and a 9.6 to 1 CR.

The OEM cams on the SPI are the big limiting factor (185I/188E deg duration at 0.050" with 0.402" lift. In comparison the Zetec has 214I/206E deg @ 0.050 with 0.366I/)0.338E lift. The lower lift reflects the 4 valve configuration.)

Exhaust, UDP, tuning could add another 5-8 WHP without going inside the engine. You aren't going to get much beyond 100 WHP unless you do head/cam work, add a bit of nitrous oxide or turbo the engine.

So a longer duration cam with maybe a little more lift combined with a compression ratio bump (say, thin gasket or decked) to try to get up to 9.5 or 9.6 and the SPI could be reasonable close to the Zetec? Maybe? A little? ...Please?

you get some off escortfocus.com, or I think Paeco makes some, or you can your reground or buy ones to get custom ground.

    tons over in the UK.

best to just have your stocker (or a junk yard spare) reground.

I knew it was 9. something :)... 9.2:1 good for boost, so that makes the SPI hybrid what 8 something to 1
