You have to pry the cluster surround off first. I started on the right side at the top (near the vent) and worked my way across, just kind of prying and pulling gently along the way. Once this is off (it is held in by clips that snap out) it exposes the screws that hold the rest of the trim pieces that surround the cluster. Then the cluster itself is held in my 4 screws. They are either 6 or 8mm, cant remember, but very small. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the cluster and remove the cluster.
