How do you test the IAC Valve on a 1.9L (1995) Engine?
Is it supposed to go through a movement test, Open then Close, when the ignition is put to ON (But not started)?
If your referring to the Air Bypass Valve that controls the idol (that thing has so many names!) then I have a relatively simple test. When your car is just started in the morning it's supposed to idle high. Disconnect the IAC when it's doing this. Your idle will drop, quickly. I've done stuff like this when I've had idleing problems to see if it was an air bypass or an electronic engine controls problem.
