So today i get home from work and as usual I ask my brother how his day was at school. He looks up at me and says "not good". So I inquire as to why it wasnt good and he says "I got ripped off".

Now i have to stop for a second and explain my brother. He is 16 yrs old and is metally handicapped, he has the capacity of an 8 or 9 year old but goes to normal high school and is in the special education class. He is the nicest most lovable kid you could ever meet, he only wants to be someones friend. He is constanlty teased at school and is taken advantage of when it comes to his belongings. The only hobby he has is video games, he does not play sports or hang out with friends, all he does is eat, sleep, go to school and play vidoe games. anyway back to my rant..

So he goes on to tell me (as best as he can) that some kid followed him home at lunch and pretended to be his friend. He then went on to steal over $1000 worth of video game stuff and $100 in cash from my brothers room. My brother didnt notice the stuff was gone until he came home after school.

So after that we got in my truck and tried to find the kids house (again my brother tried to explain where the kid lived but was unable). Meanwhile Im trying to keep my cool because he is intune with emotions with other people, and is easily stressed (he also thinks people are mad with him when they really arent) so I have been trying to keep as calm as possible.

Basically if i find this kid im going to put his teeth in the back of his head. I cant understand how fucked someone has to be to steal from someones home in the first place, let alone from someone such as my brother. And to add to my anger is how sad and depressed my brother is. He started the day off thinking he has finally made a friend, just to find out he got robbed, and robbed of the only things he loves!

I dont know why i decided to post it here, i guess its a place to vent. If i dont post here for a couple weeks it means im in jail...

Yeah man, that is absolutely ridiculous that someone would do something like that in the first place. It pushes the situation even further over the edge that the guy stole the items by intentionally taking advantage of your brothers willingness to trust others. That guy should be ashamed of himself, I don't know how people like him can live with themselves. There is a special place in hell for guys like him.

Anyways, I hope you are able to get his stuff back and sort out the situation. Good luck.

its one thing to tease the kid, but to follow him home, pretend to be his friend, and STEAL? thats pretty bad..

hope you get this guy, and hope your brother gets over this.

In high school, some dude I knew hooked up with a girl who was in special ed classes, just to sleep with her. He was a senior, she was a freshman. Needless to say we kicked his arse to the curb.

    You should do the same.

Arse-kicking of a kid like that? Count me in! And it's in Canada even.. what will they do, deport me? :D But seriously, there are way too many people like that in the world, and it's ridiculous. I guess I don't understand people like that, just because I could never imagine doing something like that, but he definitely needs a whoopin'.

I had something similar to this happen a few years ago. A couple of my brothers druggie friends came over to see him, my brother wasn't home and he wanted a glass of water, so I let him in. He comes back to my room, where I'm playing morrowind on my xbox, and he proceeds to start unhooking my xbox. I ask him what he's doing and he says my brother owes him money. And me, scrawny white nerd, doesn't have the balls to do anything. He took my xbox, all my games, my vcr, my backpack, and my mothers PSX, which was in the living room.

Seriously though, find where that kid lives, and whoop his parents asses, that way you don't go to jail ;P

That kid is a fucking ass. I hate when crap like that happends. I used to work with special needs kids and all the other kids that were in the class new that if you did anything to them it was your ass. Period. I just dont understand certain people. I hope that you find his ass. Im sure hes an idiot and im sure that he will be bragging around school.

    What gaming system was it?

The local place near me has a ton of previously played stuff really cheap. And its not abused stuff either, they resurface the discs. I buy all my games there because I'm not that hardcore of a gamer to pay $100 for a game...I wait until they're $14.99 on clearance

Does your brother know who the kid is, I.E. point him out? Just take him to school one day and tell the school about this. Most of the time they'll help you out and get the kid suspended and/or police time & juvenile hall if you can prove it was him. <--This is for America, not sure about Canada.

If you do find out who it is, just give us the fucker's address and we'll take care of him for ya.

Horty... I don't really care about the consequences when someone does something like that... I say we find out who he is and give him what he deserves. Does your bro know his name or anything? Someone must know who came back with your brother. I hope everything gets sorted out.

Well we went for a drive and my brother ended up finding the house. I went up to the house and decided I would ask his mom where he was. We got into a conversation and his mom lost it. It turns out he is a foster child who is constantly stealing from other kids.

He found out about my brother and all his games through another kid that lives with him. He is in my brothers class and has a similar situation to my brother.

Anyhoo his "mom" dragged his dirty ass out onto the front porch and made him stand infront of me and my brother. My brother told me that he was the one who stole all of his stuff.

This is when I passed the kids "dad" the list of everything that was stolen and he went to go check out the kids room. He stood there and lied to me, my brother and his foster mother telling us that he doesnt even own a PSP.

His dad shortly returned with 2 PSPs. The kid claimed that one of them was his, and the other belonged to a friend named "justin". So that was enough proof for everyone that he was lying through his teeth (that may not belong to him for very long).

I asked him what his friends phone number was and what his last name was, he told me that he didnt know. So my brother turns the first one on and instanly knows its his by some files that were saved on the memory.

So since no other games were found his mother decided to send him to his room. My mom called the school to tell them the situation and they searched his locker this morning before he arrived for classes and nothing was found.

As he was leaving I gave him the look of death told him I was going to be talking to him very shortly one day after school.

So basically the situation is we got his PSP back but none of the 14 games that were stolen. I guess games are easier to move than a PSP.

The worst part about this is the fact that my brother is terrified of going to school for fear of being beat up or having confrontation with this low life. This morning he was throwing up because he was so scared to go to school. So I dont know when he will be going back, he stayed home today and is at my grandparents until sunday.

And in an interesting turn of events his "mom" called our house today to ask if i knew where the kid was since he didnt come home at lunch or after school. Maybe this kid isnt as dumb as we think...

hehe you should have told her "i have him, whats he worth to you" HAHAHAHAHA

tell her to drop the money somewhere and you will let him go... pick up the money, and considering you never had him you wouldn't be lying about letting him go ;)

punks suck, this is a different situation but similar predicament, the neighborhood where my parents live has this punk drug dealer who is like 16 yrs old. He is like hardcore like killer drug dealer too. His parents are scared to death of him thus being so they dont make him leave and get the hell out of their lives. stuff always goes up missing, and we have users and other sellers crusing through the neighborhood for him... and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. I hate being afraid of being outside... that is messed up... someone needs to beat the crap out of that kid still regardless of foster kid or not, he needs to know that you dont mess with people because you mess with the wrong one and it could be the last one you mess with.

My brother is safe at my grandparents, I dont think the kid is dumb enough to come to my house either, he didnt know that my brother had an older brother (me), so i think hes pretty scared that im gonna fuck him up.
