well, i got the car running today....as it turns out, my dad hooked up the wires wrong so....than we got it started...back it up, drove it done the driveway...and it stalled.......

so my new question is....what would case the car to die just from coasting/being driven down a 10 yard driveay? could there be a serious drain on my battery? could my mixture be wrong even though the timing is correct? maybe from my m.a.f.? could my filter be clogged? i need ideas and fast.....

well it stall.

the first thing i would check is the fuel pressure and volume. the way to check volume is to attach a fuel pressure gauge (which should already be installed to check pressure)and on a good quality guage you should have a pressure realase for disconecting it . Install the hose off the realaseinto a 20 once bottle aand cycle the ingnition switch the three second on off of the pump should fill the bottl about a third of the way up if it doesnt suspect cloged fuel filter or bad fuel pump(wich is located under bottom of rear seat)

i already replaced the fuel filter.....and right now, not staying you are wrong, but i really don´t think there is a problem with my fuel.......however, its always ran really crappy.....it blew black smoke out the rare, idleed really funny, and really low, and it would go from rough idle to good idle, and back and forth......

anyway, i´ll give it a shot, so someone keep up with the answers.....
