good morning: my stock fuel pump can give me only 42 PSI (45 PSI MAX data sheets). my question is, if i put a higher fuel pump, like 65 PSI MAX (local autozone) this could decrease my mileage but rise the performance?
right know i put a solenoide valve to take out the pressure regulator out in my 97, on idle the pressure is 32 PSI, when i activate the solenoid the pressure rise to 42 PSI and the car response good but the mileage suffer.
this is the price for performance? i know i can make a lot of mods but in this theme (Fuel managment) what can i do?
best regards
