    Time for more updates....
Moved my parts car from in the garage to outside storage (the paint is shot, so not worried about the paint). The Gray 01 has been at my work as a backup. There has been a couple times that my GF had to come get me because of a parts issue. We decided it would be better to leave a car there... The only problem now is a vendor backed into the front of it and he has no insurance.. He's dragging his feet repairing the damage, so I may have to go to small claims court...
My S/R had the driver's window shot out by some low life. They got my S/R, the driver's window in my pickup and 2 of my neighbors windows also.
Changed the rear bumper on my Toreador Red 98. I found one with decent (not faded) paint from a 00. Now I have the ZX2 bumper, not the Escort ZX2 bumper (98 only).

Here's a few pics of my parts car... 2019-02-03b 1999 Ford ZX2 parts car Bright Red 002.JPG

Sorry to hear about the problems caused by others.

I would file in Small Claims Court ASAP, as time goes on the person who hit you will be more inclined to do nothing.
Have you reported the collision to the cops? That's another important item.

Of course collecting money even after winning a court judgment is another issue, but it's important to not delay. Delaying works in the defendant's favor.

I didn't file a report ...yet.. He backed into the car while I was out on a test drive. He came and talked to me the next day (he did come looking for me and told a co-worker). The guy is a painter (he does mobile body work for our company) and did say he would make it right.
Just got the parts a week ago, so hoping he will step up and bet this handled.

Let's hope it works out okay. It's a nice little car.

I didn't realize you could rent those things from U-Haul.
I wonder if you can in Canada.

What size ball does it fit?

I have rented a U-Haul tow dolly that looked like that one. The ball was 2".

    Time for updates....
Finally got the Mineral Gray 01 body work done.... only took the idiot 6 months to get it settled. Have a few more things to do and I'm going to sell it (the fleet is out of control)
The 99 is having a few repairs done right now (balancer, trans pan reseal)
Haven't done much to the S/R, can't get caught up on the DD's around here, but hope to soon.

The Mineral Gray 01 is almost ready to sell, but need to do some repairs to my DD 98 (will be driving it while I get them done). After the DD is done, I need to reseal the windage tray on my Light Denim Blue 98....

The fleet has shrunk by 2 cars now... I traded the wrecked Toreador Red 01 on a new 2020 Hyundai Accent (I work for a Hyundai dealer) and I scrapped the wrecked 99 parts car...
The Mineral Gray 01 is still waiting to get the a/c fixed so I can sell it. The biggest problem with it is some bubbles above the windshield (the rest of the body is in good shape).
Going to sell the Toreador Red 98. I have it listed on FB groups I'm in, but Ill list it here also.
Would prefer to sell it like it is right now, but if it doesn't sell soon, I'll put the stock parts on it...

    98 Toreador Red MTX
    following mods done
    S/R Borla
    S/R shifter and boot
    21mm rear sway bar
    S/R cluster
Iceman intake (red one, not a blue S/R)
MSD coil with red Ford Racing wires
    armrest

lots of other work done the last couple years. The body has aprox 215k on it, the engine has aprox 105k.

Asking price is $1500, but if someone wants to step up and pay 2k, you get a complete rear disc setup (new calipers) and a set of S/R Eibach springs.

03 wheels do not go with it, haven't decided if I'm going to put the stock 14" steel wheels or a set of 15" swirl style on it yet....
