I have a 94 GT with the stock spoiler on it, I wanted to swap it for an aluminum wing that has a 17in span between the mounting rods. I would appreciate it if anyone could explain how to remove the old spoiler and cover up the mess left over. Also any ideas on how to keep a brake light on the back? Thanks

well the best way is to fill the holes with with a welder then grind em flat again. As for the brake light it depends on what you want.If you have room on the back of the hatch, I would snag the light off an older first gen hatch back with the part#SAE-U-86-E in the lens, this will be the easiest for a factory looking finish and it won´t require a lot of metal work.just cut a rectangle, drill for 2 screws, place the housing inside the seal and lens outside and screw it together. If you want a challenge try #SAE-U-88-E.Just depends on what you´re up for.
