alright, i just got an escort yesterday, and tried to put the radio in today, and everything went smooth, except 2 things.. 1 there was no sound coming out of the speakers, and 2 the headunit wouldnt go back all the way and it wouldnt fit.. it fit fine though when i took the headunit out, and tried just the dash kit.

any help?

and also, if you could tell me how to run a power wire through my firewall, that'd be great..

also.. i dont have a power antenna on my headunit harness.. so idk what to connect that to.. any help on that too?

did you double check your connections?, and make sure theres nothing in the way of the headunit, like wires, old egg sammiches, etc.

you can run your power anntenna off your 12v swithed power. tho it will never go down when the radio is off like it should. it will only go off when teh car is turned off. so going thru car washes would be an issue.

there is some wires back there, and its from my harness.. idk why they dont move off to the side when i try to move them, but they are bundled up there.. and idk how to get them to move to the side so they dont get in the way.

and do we have power antennas?
