I feel dumb...

I have a 1998 Escort SE. What gen is my car?

What body kits will work with my car? with ZX2 ? Honda ? Anything. I am not seeing really any options ats nopi online.. Any suggesstions will help!

Don´t feel dumb Paul, all i knew about my 1992 Escort GT the day I bought it was that it was a manual transmission and it had a tachometer which read out to a 7000 rpm redline... Now I know quite a bit, heck I even have my VIN memorized

I´ve owned my EGT for little over a year and I´ve yet to start really actually modifying it. Welcome to the Scort Population.

Thats pretty much what I know about my car... Except mines an auto... Which really bites... I didnt want an auto... But the manual costed alot more.. And I was poor at the time heh..

So what body kits, anyone got any idea? What be a good motor to put in this?

Well Paul I have an 98 SE and let me tell you finding parts for this car is alot eaiser then it was when I first bought it brand new. As far as body kits! No one makes one that I know of. So if you want one it will have to be custom fabricated from an eclipse or talon kit. Another thing is that I have found only the front will work so u will have to do your homework. Another thing I was wondering? Who told you the manual tranny costs mor than auto? The auto tranny is an option!!

All the dealer had was auto´s... And said if I wanted a mnaual, he´d charge me more to order and get it in... Hell I almost got hte car at a steal.... 7grand brand new
