First of all, let me say "ERDT is down, and I don´t care" I never realized I was missing out on so much more info!!
At the beginning of next year I plan to buy an LX 5-speed to drop an SPI into..
I currently have a nice 3rd gen auto, that is an awesome car... but.. is heavy and an auto...... It is pretty slow but is a nice comforable, attractive commuter..
this has has opened my eyes to the SPI. I can´t wait to imagine it in a lighter, 5-speed car.
This is where you guys can help... I know the 3-door is lighest.. but I have always favored 4-doors.. My favorite look is the 5-door LX.. I dig the 3 door too, but the 5 is the ish.
now is the 4-door lighter than the five door?? also I believe the sedan mayhave a slight body kit advantage as the rear doesn´t have the hatch cutting down into it...
I am at a loss.. and not sure which one I want.. pics(pics of modded examples of each), and your opinions would help...
