First of all, let me say "ERDT is down, and I don´t care" I never realized I was missing out on so much more info!!

At the beginning of next year I plan to buy an LX 5-speed to drop an SPI into..
I currently have a nice 3rd gen auto, that is an awesome car... but.. is heavy and an auto...... It is pretty slow but is a nice comforable, attractive commuter..
this has has opened my eyes to the SPI. I can´t wait to imagine it in a lighter, 5-speed car.
This is where you guys can help... I know the 3-door is lighest.. but I have always favored 4-doors.. My favorite look is the 5-door LX.. I dig the 3 door too, but the 5 is the ish.
now is the 4-door lighter than the five door?? also I believe the sedan mayhave a slight body kit advantage as the rear doesn´t have the hatch cutting down into it...
I am at a loss.. and not sure which one I want.. pics(pics of modded examples of each), and your opinions would help...

depending on how interested you are in about geting a car....I have a 91 lx 5 door in dark blue that I am cleaning up to sell so I can get a truck to pull my boat.....it does drive well and it is a 5 speed....as soon as I get her all cleaned up I can see about sending some pictures if you are interested

a dark blue five door sounds great...
and arkansas is pretty close.. well comparably what would you be expectng to get out of it.. I am looking for something under 1500 and nice.. well nice for 1500... I don´t care about interior.. it will be getting stripped anyway :-D
montgomery is like an hour from my house... (I actually live in sylacauga)
we ought to hook up.. I will be in Montgomery doing lights for the Jubilee street festival in about 2 weeks.. maybe we can hook up and take some pics.. :-D

you are still My best friend... no spoiler yet... I am trying to not mod for a while.. for the reasons above..

as far as mods go.. I have a UDP, Camgear, homebrew intake mods, pots, a non-muffler, some randome lighting and 92 EGT wheels planted a carbon color..
my buddy thought i Had powder coated.. so my home paint job must be decent..
I hope you do volunteer, that´d be cool!!

Hear ya! I´m still looking for a low mileage 1g DSM. I have 2 of em in my crosshairs, waiting for things to fall into place. Once my house sells I should have 50g´s to bank minus a few thou for the DSM.

I´m not gonna start a bidding war....lol...but I agree that someone from one of the scort board would be preferred than just selling it to anybody....she aint pretty, but she runs good and as far as I have looked has little or no rust...as I said I will try to get some pics up soon. I would keep her for a project I have in mind...but gotta move the boat with something and I will never do that to one of my cars....I love them too much for that
