I found another product that works really well. Get some 1500 sandpaper from Wal-Mart and some Blue Magic Plastic & Plexiglass Cleaner from Auto Zone. Wet sand the crap out of them with the sandpaper. Dry, then put on the blue magic and buff the crap out of them. Takes alot of elbow grease but its inexpensive and it looks really nice. I already bought new headlights but I used it on my gauge window and it looks brand new. I wish I had got this stuff before I bought the new headlights!

As for the sockets, I just bought clear corners for my 91 egt and i heres what i did. Go to your local junkyard(bring a knife or scissors) and look for a 93 - 96 escort(any trim) or mercury tracer(any trim). Cut the wires connecting to the corner lenses(leave enough for you to rewire though). Remove the socket. My junkyard only charged me $2 for them. Get some electrical tape, cut off your old socket and rewire and tape the new ones. Another inexpensive mod!

By the way, I also used that blue magic stuff on my computer screen and my tv screen. It gave them a clearer picture and repels dust better than windex. This is truly an outstanding product. I might just use it on my windshield.

For the sockets you don´t need new ones, you can just cut off one of the small alignment tabs and it will tightly fit in. I´m not sure which tab it is but a lot of people have done it that way. Just look at it and you´ll see. As for the headlights, use some 1500 and then some 2000 grit sandpaper on them and then polish em with plastic polish. Make sure you wet sand too! I actually used 400 grit first cuz mine were really yellow, but then it took a long time to get all those scratches out.
