I have a 97 Escort Wagon. I have been looking for replacement headlight assemblies and find 98 to 02 assemblies but not for 97's. Is there a difference between the 97s and up? Or will the 98-02 units fit? Please give me some info. I have tried to search on here but found nothing so far.

The 97+ are all the same there is no difference.

Thanks! I was wondering as all the listings on e-bay and other places state 98 and up. Don't want to buy a set and find they won't fit.

I replace mine with an eBay set and the same happened to me. I dont know its like 97 escorts were forgotten, and jumped to 98.

most people on eBay have no idea what parts they are selling. They'll fit no problem, as long as they are the 3rd gen SEDAN headlights
