I know the 1.9L header/ exhaust manifolds bolt up. This is not my question. I've searched and found that firing order is messed on the aftermarket headers. I can't find a HO header so I was wondering what you opinions were on the OBX header. I went to the product review section and you people don't like the pacesetter so I was wondering what you do like?

I have owned both pacesetter and OBX header. I had no issues with my pacesetter header. The only reason why I replaced it was that I liked the finish of the OBX header better.

I have never seen actual proof that the pacesetter header hinders power. Everything I have seen has been hear-say. When I put mine on my blue car years ago, I definitely felt a power gain over stock.

Did it affect fuel economy? I'm looking for ways that improve power any don't affect fuel economy negatively.

neither of my escorts were modified with fuel economy in mind. I do not monitor how many MPGs my cars get, so that I couldn't tell you.

If fuel economy is your main concern, just slap a K&N filter in it and be done with it.
