I found these on sale for $30. Only problem is that are rated at 25 watt RMS per channel. They basically shake your seat with the bass.

The concept is that some bass noise is not heard, it's felt. This (in theory) with give you the vibrations of a much bigger system in lieu of the $$, space, effort, etc of a much larger system. They were orginally concieved for sports cars and convertables that didn't have room for a sub. Since then they've been adapted to home theatres and pc gaming.
