I did yesterday on NJ Turnpike.I was heading towards Swedesboro for a 3 day class for my job,and here comes this all Black Challenger and passes me.I chased him for a bit,but I guess he didnt like a Ryder van being so close to him,so he punched it and just vanished. The engine sound is awsome.I'm still cleaning all the stains off my pants. It looks so much better in person.I need one......Bad... :(

I saw 2 of them in 2 days. One was a black one in Acton, Ontario, on July 1, the next was on the 2nd and it was an Orange one in Burlington, Ontario. BEAUTIFUL CARS!

they're a lot less impressive up close. "carbon fiber" stickers for stripes and the exhaust tips are pretty janky to say the least. plus they weigh well over two tons, which is just freaking ridiculous... i am disappointed, to say the least

dang, that's disappointing. sounds like the exact opposite of my experience with the audi R8. it just looked ok in pictures, but looks amazing when you see it in person.

There were no graphics, tape, decals on this one. Jet black.Looked incredible. And for "2 Tons",it moves very nicely.

First day you could purchase one in Missouri they came down to my work (dragstrip). It was surprisingly slow, 14.2 was best pass.

We had one at the dealership where I work. I was dissappointed at the quality. The gaps are terrible, dirt in the paint, and too much money. For 42k the car should be better. Like the splash shield in front of the front tires. It should of been moulded right in with the front lower lip instead of having the line where the pieces meet. There just wasn't enough thought into the design. I was going to take a picture to post, but honestly, the car wasn't worth it.

The car is supposed to be nostalgic. It's not supposed to be a straight up performance car, plus this is the first year of it, give it a couple of years, it should be pretty top quality. Me personally, I HATE Dodge unless it's a Cummins, but personally I think that the Challenger is the BEST nostalgia car anyone has released. The Mustang is ok too but the Challenger is pretty cool. Basically they built it for the guys that have the 42k to go buy the car that would remind them of the car they had in High School, basically the very same idea of when they destroyed the Charger name by putting it on an ugly 4 door family car.

Should be pretty awesome, there were 3 available to purchase in KC,MO and the Procharger guys got the first one; I can't wait to see what they'll do.

^^ I have one and I love it. Its only got the 3.5 in it, but it still moves. I hated them when they first came out, but then after test driving one (because of the price range), I fell in love with it. The front has a REALLY aggressive look to it, especially when its classed as a "Family Sedan". Even the body lines on the rear quarter panels give it a mean look.

As far as naming it after the 2-door Muscle Car...I was a little disappointed by that as well. I remember when rumours came out that they were bringing back the Charger...I wanted one before it was even designed...just to say "I have a Charger". So it was upsetting to see that the design they came up with. Realistcally, they could have just as easily called it the new Intrepid..I'd still drive it though.

But I would trade it in less than a second for a new Challenger.
