GTS-Clear Covers

My set of GTS clear covers arrived today. Has anyone tried the GTS covers? If so my question is how well they fit the turn signal lamp. There are clips for the headlamp, but the plastic just curves around to the side with no attachment point there. Does it fit well or did you have to modify? Instructions talk about drilling a pilot hole and securing that way. I will probably do this as I don´t want the sides flopping about in the wind.

Thats the only thing I don´t like about the covers, there´s no attachment point at the turn signals. however, I have thought of doing this: where the screw holds the turn signal onto the car itself you could drill a hole into the GTS cover and use that screw for the cover as well. that would hold it down and make it look slightly better... the only problem is I don´t always keep my covers on and that would make it more of a pain to take off.
Since mine are clear, I´ve planned this mod to be permanent. And because my left turn light was wrecked recently, I figure the clears will offer some degree of protection from road debris without hampering legality or functionality.
sup fellas. i´ve had those clear covers. there alright- but any plastic mold unless originaly molded to fit oem is gonna have quirks. the side-marker cover doesnt move muck but it does mark up the lense by rubbing too close.
they also defuse the light pattern. espec wene dirt gets in there.
i threw them away.
yeah I want the smoke/black ones for my GT. I´m planning on doing an all-black theme like jamey-poo suggested. Tinted windows, tinted rear lights (planning on using window tint for RC car bodies :)) and tinted everything else. I saw a pretty riced out civic in town a couple days ago that was full super dark tinted windows, with chrome highlights- it was pretty nice lookin, I´d have to say. Very scary... kinda like a stallion kinda black.

Oh yes... it will be mine. :-]

LOL

I´ll just save up and do the angeleye project.
I had the smoked ones and I put one of the clear rubber bumper things on each side marker,no rubbing no flapping.Oh and I had those pilot Ion crystal ultra white 9004 bulbs,It looked so cool with the lights on they were blue with the covers off and purple with em on.And as far as the angel eyes,You could get some clear gts covers and mask them off to give the shape then get some blue bulbs to give the depth.By the way Can any one get Ion crystal bulbs from pilot? They were illegal here when I bought em but I had a guy who could get them for me but he´s out of business and no one else can get em.I still have some but both high beams are burned out so I took them out.I really like em though,so if ya know hit me back.

Yeah, I don´t care about his opinion on my headlight covers, cause he´s stuck in his own apartment without a license so I´ll continue to use mine freely MWUAHAHA! :-] ;-)
I´m not a fan of any translucent plastic added on to a vehicle.. be it a bug guard, window visors, headlamp & taillamp covers, etc. I think they just look
, myself. But if everyone drove cars that I thought looked nice, there wouldn´t be much variety on the road.

PS: I´m a bit of a hipocrite since I´ve yet to remove the window visors on my wagon.. I still don´t like them though. I´m kinda waiting until the ones I ordered for my dad´s new car show up.. cause HE likes their functionality.

I´ve got window visors on my car... I hatezor them because it limits visibility in turns, plain and simple.

but they look cool, so I leave em on. beh I´m such a ricewhore
