I have an 01 escort and I get the same grinding when I am traveling low speed like to a stop sign. Brakes and rotors are fine, been doing it since I drove it off the lot, now I am at 84K miles and it still does it.
GRINDING noise
My brakes are probably 2 months old, and after I got new tires I noticed that when I go to stop they make a grinding or a chatterring noise. A couple weeks after it started I used some of that disc brake quiet stuff, but that didn´t change anything. Does anyone have an idea what this is?
