    A 20-28 year old Escort that doesnt have anything wrong sounds boring; or that someone is deep in 'denial'.

    Also people will not fix minor problems with old cars that would get prompt attention in newer ones, at a substantial cost.

    Wow! every Escort I have owned has had problems
    Where to start...
    1) 1980 'World Car' (little globes on the L&R mid center fender skirts).
    280k miles.- head gasket-
    2) 1985 'red car' 1.6L (lol) 254k miles, -casette player stopped working.
    3) & 4)
    1984 & 1985 GT TURBO cars - use Your imagination :)
    5) 1988 plain jane C.F.I. C.V.T. 5speed car 310k miles (pasted in the
    rear by an [email protected]@@ipe)
    6)1990 - purchased for $200 with blown head gasket - driven 40 miles to shop
    for repair.
    170k total miles .
    ?Whats Wrong with My Escort? ___
