hey,

I was at work the other day and a coworker had his 97 bonneville parked next to the scort. I got to thinking:

the front bumperon the bonneville is larger, but has the same general shape and curvature of the Scort bumper.

Why couldnt you cut the escort bumper right bellow the little trim line, and the bonneville bumper right bellow its trim line, and join them together? I think it would look great, and then you would have factory looking fog lights!!

The bonneville bumper would have tu be cut and glassed in the middle ot make it the wirhgt width, but I think it will work. Mabye a winter project...

Give it a shot - there was a guy who did it with a Grand Am bumper. He rivited the bottom half of the bumper on, similar to what you are talking about and then glassed it together to make it seamless. In the end it looked pretty good. Like you said it had the stock looking foglights and was a little lower to the ground than the stock Grand Am bumper.

Lets see it.

And does it work using fiberglass, which is rigid, with a urethane part? I guess you better not rub anything.

He has a post about it. I wasn't too sure if there is another guy with a grand am bumper on his car I think that was my car. I ripped mine off and I am thinking about going with a civic front bumper and accord rear. Maybe I dunno I was thinking maybe an older integra (92-94) Front bumper may do pretty nice on my car. I dunno.

Is your car pink? I remember the one I saw being a black car.
