hey everyone,
If you´ve been reading the boards for the past month I´ve been all talk about going turbo this summer.
Well today I bought it, IHI -VJ20, manifold and downpipe. Still need plumbing, intercooler, BOV, ECU, Injectors, Pump.....yaddiyaddiyadda.
Anyhow, if you know of anyone that has turbo kit parts laying around and wants to sell them let me know.

My friends and I will be sure to have a complete How-To made up on an Escort Turbo kit. If things go well I might beable to put together turbo-kits to sell. Anyhow, wish me luck.

i am trying to turbo my 96 escort.... i engine swaoed for a 2.0 and i have a 1st gen eclipse turbo.... what do i need to make it work.

well, since you didn´t get a GTX turbo...you´ll need to have a exhaust manifold made to fit the flange on the 14G turbo you have. You´ll need to make sure to turn down the wastegate too...factory DSMs are at like 12psi.

You need all the other things in a turbo set up...from fuel to ignition, think about an intercooler too. Dont want to be without one
