I think it sounds better with the silencer off... Ive heard the mufflers on many different cars, and when the silencer is on they sound like it has a large leak in the exaust. My buddy just put one on his Civic, and it sounds absolutly wicked. I'm thinking of getting one myself because my flowmaster on my GT sounds horrible.
