alright. i am going to the bone yard later. a couple of questions first.

1.) what year miata would i be able to pull the cams out of? and how much more power would i have?

2.)what do i want to look for, performance wise, that i can put in my car? 1991 escort gt.

any and all responses would be appreciated.

oh, and where can i find out how to do the rx7 air flow meter swap?

ahh....gotta love those u pulls. at the one i'm at, trannys are 75bucks, turbos and intercoolers are 30 a piece. heads are 45 bucks...and the best thing is. they all have core prices and come w/ a 30 day warranty. I always hit that place up. James, i'm doin what u did, i got me a head, sent it to napa and gettin it dipped in acid and polished for 40 bucks. Next i need to go get the rebuild kit. How much do those usually run? If my head is pretty much shot, can i re use the lifters? Basically, i burn 2 qts of oil every 1000 miles. I ran the car out of timing about a week last summer so i think it burned my valve seals and i have detonation rattle so thats pretty much why i'm rebuilding head. But yeh, waht are prices for a rebuild kit for a 92gt and what does it come w/? I've got a copper gasket for 55 bucks, just need the rebuild kit now.
i was referring to your block project, but i'm workin on the otherside...after i posted i figured u'd say something. but yeh, engine...its all the same.
