Was driving today, and progress was painfully slow. Large white delivery truck up ahead seemed to think that driving 10 mph under the limit on dry roads is really cool. Looked like the pied piper and all, leading this parade. Finally!!! the truck turns off. Whadya think was lettered on the sides, real big? "Velocity Express" I kid you not.
Go Figure!!!

Year or two ago was out in Lancaster County after some tornado had been through. Destroyed barns and everything else. Passed by one farm, looked like the whole neighborhood was there for a barn-raising, replacing what´d been destroyed. Cool. Then there was this manufacturing plant, more destruction. Semi trailer laying on its side. Whadya think the lettering was on that one? "TIP"
Just goes to show that ya gotta be careful what you ask for- just might get it!!!

I´ve got a picture of a delivery truck with "Barrel O´ Fun" on the side, it´s pulled off the side of the highway and the whole front cab and engine bay are engulfed in flames. Fun huh? You bet.

Okay Geocities SUCKS and wont let me link anything.

I´d put it on my actual webpage but my school´s server is REALLY pissing me off and it keeps rejecting my SSH FTP.

Does anyone out there have an FTP program that will hit port 22 thats running SSH ?!?!?! I dont have any money but because I live off campus and our IT dept are IDIOTS I can´t seem to get to my own stuff.

If I telnet in using a SSH app it works no problem, but none of the telnet-like programs I have will let me FTP anything.

Stupid-Power-Hungry-I wish I was a Root User-Information Tech-Nerds that run Servers so they can feel like are demigods! DOH!

Lost me with that whole FTP/SSH tirade, but I sure hope you get those problems worked out!

Another funny one round here: large deliver truck with 36" lettering on the sides "Darby Lubmer Company." Musta forgot to run spellcheck! Truck ran that way for years too, they never corrected it. Maybe they thought it attracted more attention that way, but still.
go figure!

I love it when people mispell. It´s one thing to do it while typing, can be annoying but one gets the point. It´s another thing entirely to be lettering something for an advertisement and completely screw it up. Coming into work I saw a beater Camaro for sale. No check that. It was ´FO SALE´. FO... Person had obviously spent the time lettering the window so I dunno if it was intentional or not. But yeah, it got my attention. ´This here booty-kickin Camaro be Fo sale!´

Yeah, that reminds me. One of my obscure interests is appalachian/coal mining history. Best friend and I were poking around this company town at the end of a coal branch deep in WV. This abandoned building there, a former company store for Pocahontas Coal Co. had warning signs spraypainted all over it: "NO TRESSPASSING VIOLATORS WILL BE PROCUTED."
Been wondrin ever since what procuted is!!!!!
