how do i get to the window handle off my door so i can replace my speakers?

i cant take the door trim off with out doing it first and dont really care to break anything quite yet... thanks

If you have an auto zone or advance auto parts nearby, ask them for a window crank puller. They only cost about $2.

Easiest way to do it.....either the specific tool (i have a pic somewhere).

Or just use a tee shirt.

Loop it behind the handle (like the letter
"U") and swing it around with both hand on either end....it will catch on a point of the little horse shoe shaped clip thats holding the crank on (watch out because those things can fly off!!)

the hanes manualsays use a small rag, easier to get in there instead of a Tshirt. i´ve taken my door panel off sooo many times, it´s quite easy, and you don´t really need to spend money on a tool. but laziness is ok in my books

Slip a rag between the door panel and the handle, and you will catch one of the sharp edges on the clip and pull it out..

You ca actually buy boxes of 10 clips at a parts store like Canadian Tire or Part Source.
Its in the section with all the replacement door handles and push clips and other misc. peices.
I think NAPA´s also carry the same line of misc. products.
